
Attracting talent for the world’s largest impact investor
International Finance Corporation (IFC), the world’s largest impact investor, had committed to grow its investment activity in countries that benefitted least from private investment. To deliver this strategy, it needed to recruit local knowledge of these economies: namely, Sub-Saharan-African and Caribbean nationals.

Approach
Following thorough research, we developed creative messaging that resonated with the right audience.
- Worked jointly with IFC’s Brand and HR teams
- Conducted interviews with people from across the business
- eSurvey of recent ‘millennial’ hires
- Tested in a focus group of ‘millennial’ staff

Result
For a pilot recruitment event, we produced a printed careers brochure, social media assets and other event collateral. We are working with IFC to develop its online careers brand and a toolkit for future recruitment events.
